What type of wax are your sculptural candles made of?

Currently, we offer soy wax & beeswax. Our beeswax are carefully sourced from reputable apiaries locally in Wisconsin. Soy wax that we used are from Midwest region of USA, where the world's soybeans are grown and harvested close to home for us.

Why Soy wax:

Soy wax is 100% natural wax derived from the vegetable soybeans, which is biodegradable and sustainable. It is a popular choice for candle making due to its clean and slow burn. It releases fragrance effectively and evenly, creating a pleasant atmosphere. With soy wax candles, you can enjoy a longer-lasting, eco-friendly burn that minimizes soot and toxins, making it a healthier option for you and the environment.

Why beeswax

Beeswax, with its unique properties and benefits, can be the perfect choice to add a touch of natural elegance to your decor or for burning your candles. They are a sustainable choice for those looking to minimize their environmental impact. Sourced from bees and crafted by nature itself, beeswax is a renewable resource that can be used without harming the delicate balance of the ecosystem. Beeswax is a natural substance free from harmful chemicals or additives. This purity not only benefits the environment but also ensures that your creations are safe and healthy for both you and your audience.

Can we custom beeswax candles by adding scent or color?

Yes, we definitely do, upon requests. Please take into consideration that beeswax has a natural honey hue to it which is why many clients prefer the natural scent that it offers.

What kind of fragrances do you use?

We custom all our fragrances along the floral lines. We just love flowers & the fresh scents from it :) Our studio uses only essential oil as we have done our research on the benefits of burning candles with essential oil. They are made from various aromatic plants or tree roots and undergo an intensive manufacturing process to extract the oil. Because they are made entirely of natural substances, candles infused with essential oils can have aromatherapeutic benefits. It is safe for your house, if you did not know.

I am new to purchasing these types of candles. It looks great for gifting, can we also burn them?

Most certainly :) We have crafted & tested our candles to ensure they have decent burn times. On average, the peony candles burn for as long as good 8-9hrs with soy & bees wax while pure beeswax candles burn a good 10-12hrs. Please read our candle safety instruction for optimum burn time & safe burning. And yes, our candles are well packaged which makes perfect gifts for various occasions & can be personalized for that special touch.

Do you take custom orders?

Also, if you have a requests on the type of candles you prefer, we offer free consultation via email & we'll be happy to create a unique piece for you.

Can we reuse the tins?

Most certainly!!! Our tins are used to promote reusability and the same goes for packaging boxes, when you order non-tin candles. For the tin candles, once your candles have burned completely, there are some wax remaining. Let them cool overnight. With a plastic spatula or ice-cream wooden stick, pop those wax out. They do come out clean (yes, we have tested it:) ) We encourage re-using the tins by refilling it with our candles or making your own candles, if you like. If you are not using them for candle purpose, please wipe the tin clean with alcohol. Our tins can be used for storing jewelry, pins, and some of our clients have used these tins for aesthetic decor in their space.
